Lynne’s Journey
Born in New Zealand in 1952, Lynne earned a BA from Canturbury University in 1973. She then taught literature and coached sports at Hutt Valley High School. In 1975, she received a New Zealand Teaching Certificate and Diploma.
Extensive overland travel in Asia, Africa and Southern Europe for three years, after which Lynne settled in Paris.
Language training for companies in Paris, developing and teaching Paolo Alto influenced approaches to language learning, later creating and delivering professional skills programs in English, Intercultural awareness, self learning skills development.
Became a qualified yoga teacher with the French Federation of Hatha Yoga. Began teaching seminars and yoga classes.
Founding member of the French Society of Coaching (SFCoach) 1996 and president of its ethical standards and assessing body during 4 years (Comité d’Agrément et de Déontologie).
Founded the LKB School of Coaching in February 2000 and has been its principal trainer on all programs since then.
In 2001, founded EGG, a European network of professional coaches that meet twice a year in a different European country. It is a self organizing group that rotates responsibility for hosting and facilitating each meeting. The group has begun meeting virtually in response to the COVID world crisis.
In 2002, LKB Associates established as a company offering coaching, team facilitating, personal development for leaders, coaching skills for managers, in company health, well being and performance training. In the same year, became a Master Coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Served the international body during 10 years as an assessor both in English and French.
Became an expert in Clean Coaching techniques (the work of David Grove) and encorporated these techniques into her teaching. Sound practitioner of systemic interventions in the workplace and family constellations in the private sphere. Creator and facilitator of LKB Soul Workshops for leaders, coaches and entrepreneurs.
Began teaching coaches how to work systemically with constellations on line or face to face with individual clients or company teams.
Publication of her first book "Once a Pilgrim – Always a Coach", available for sale on Amazon and in bookstores.
